Organization of Pupils’ Labour Teams to Assist Soldiers’ Families in the Altai District During the World War I. // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2008. Issue 3 (77). P. 83-85

The First World War brought many changes to economic, social and political life of the country. The problem became vitally important either for the central part of Russia or the periphery of empire. Here we should pay a special attention to the Altai of Tomsk province where the authorities organized charitable funds and trusteeships, where the families of the called up soldiers were provided with agricultural help. Besides their studies, pupils accepted extraduties, voluntarily assisting soldiers families. The formation of labour teams from pupils was very important either from educational points of view.
