In this article there was an attempt to give a brief characteristic of foundation and development of Russian soldiers' glorious traditions from ancient times through nowadays, when Internal Troops of Interior ought to carry out service and combat tasks in conditions of fighting against international terrorism in all its forms.

In this article the intention of giving short characteristics of origin, establishment and development of Internal Troops of Russia’s Interior is undertaken; the author gave an assessment of carrying out of service and combat tasks by the Internal Troops in modern conditions of fighting with International terrorism.
