Potanina Olga S. Linguistic Representations of Abstract Notions in the Dialects of the Khanty Language // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2005. Issue 4 (48). P. 80-83

This paper is aimed to outline the semantic principles of classification of abstract nouns and point out the major groups of nouns within this class. In linguistic literature the problem of taxonomy of nouns is still under discussion. The criteria of assigning nouns to either abstract or concrete are not well-defined and theoretically grounded. Most classifications of nouns are not satisfactory in the case of Khanty. Those concepts that are not represented in language by means of nouns have specific objectifications which are contrasted in this article with those ones in Navajo.

Kazantseva Tatyana Yuryevna Comparative Analysis of Gothic Nouns with Consonantal Stem-Building Markers // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 9 (60). P. 25-30

Stem-building markers became the formal factors of the declensions only in the course of time. Originally, they were not indifferent to the semantics of the nouns and joined to certain names only. The comparative analysis of nouns with consonantal elements -j-, -w-, -n- in Gothic convinces us of the ancient origin of the markers -j-, -w- as the morphological structure of the word allows to reveal earlier elements. Every stem-building marker with a consonantal element possesses its specific feature and expresses more concrete lexical meaning. The original meaning of the consonantal markers -j-, -w- was connected with an earlier category – category of animateness/inanimateness, i.e. they were markers of animateness but they lost this meaning. Only the marker -n- has kept the meaning of animateness, and vowel markers show the grammatical gender.

The article is devoted to the problem of folklore plot representation. The author analyzes the plot “three stolen princesses”. The above mentioned plot is regarded to be one of the most ancient and frequent not only in folklore but also in the world literature. The description of this plot according the Aarne-Thompson classification is the following: the hero is of supernatural origin and strengths, with two extraordinary companions he comes to a house in the woods, the hero follows the monster through a hole into the lower world, he conquers several monsters and rescues three maidens, he presents a ring and marries one of the princesses. The peculiarities of this plot representation are analyzed in Russian folk tales and Selkup fairy tales. In most Russian folk tales all episodes of the plot are described: the hero travels from place to place, fights with monsters and finally finds his bride whom he marries. On the contrary, in Selkup fairy tales this plot is usually shown in a simplified form. Alongside with “three stolen princesses” plot several other plots are represented in Selkup fairy tales: “magic runaway” plot, “magic ring/object” plot, “a dragon slayer” plot, etc. Complex composition and mixture of different plots is a characteristic feature of Selkup prose folklore. The author comes to the conclusion that Selkup folklore is a complex linguistic phenomenon influenced by folklore traditions of neighbouring ethnic groups. Comparative folklore studies provide important information about plot origin and ancient ethnic worldviews.

The article considers the development of the future educators training concept, based on the actual value and goal orientations in the development of the continuous pedagogical education. The article describes the value-attitude constituent and theoretical content of the concept. Such processes include pedagogical probation which comprises educational and work experience internships for the pedagogical higher education institution students. The creation of the integrated educational space is aimed at the support of a wide range of practice oriented forms and kinds of activities of future teachers in process of performing by them their professional tasks. The creation of such space in educational process of higher education institution is provided by the work of the Center for Additional Physical, Mathematical and Natural Science Education. Further perspectives of the research are connected with the construction of the practical content as a component of the discussed educational concept and the study of the concept’s verification results, which would allow to develop a full and substantiated understanding of the process and results of the pedagogical support in the training of pedagogical university students with the use of the potential of higher, general and additional education integration.

The article reveals one of the key requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard to the results of mastering the basic educational program of basic general and secondary general education - the formation of communicative competence of students. As mandatory skills that ensure the communicative nature of the individual, the FSES emphasizes the ability to consciously use speech tools in accordance with the task of communication to express their feelings, thoughts and needs, to plan and regulate their activities; ability to use oral and written speech, monologic contextual speech. The content of communicative competence is the ability to set and solve a certain type of communicative tasks that is the use of the acquired knowledge, skills, and skills of speech activity in practice. The importance of development of communicative skills and abilities for successful socialization, adaptation and self-realization in the society is noted. The notions “communicative actions”, “communicative abilities and skills”, “communicative competence” are specified. The necessity of teaching the genre composition in view of the FSES requirements to the formation of the communicative competence of the students is substantiated. The results of experimental work on the formation of genre-communicative skills of students on the example of teaching essays as a genre of writing are presented. Teaching essays is chosen as a key to provide a modern man with necessary skills in his speech practice. The presented method of teaching essay is built on the activation of the personal experience of students. In the learning process, spe cial methods for the development of associative thinking, traditional and non-standard methods of developing communicative abilities and skills are used. The developed and tested technique allowed to get a high level of communication abilities and skills of high school students.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the work of Re¬search Institute of Education in Siberia, Far East and North, Russian Academy of Education at the end of the XXth - the beginning of the XIXth century. There was marked a consid¬erable contribution of Russian Academy of Education (Acad¬emy of Pedagogical Sciences) in the organization of psy¬chological and pedagogical research in Western Siberia. There were distinguished the main stages of the formation and the development of the Institute, from its foundation in 1988 as a branch of the Research Institute of Labor Train¬ing and Vocational Guidance (USSR Academy of Pedagogi¬cal Sciences) up to 2003. There was characterized a conception of the work and the development of Research Institute of Education in Sibe¬ria, Far East and North in the new social and economic con¬ditions, worked out by the scientific body of this Institute, assisted by the leading scientists and participants of the region and approved by the Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Education. A rural school undoubtedly can and should become one of the potential resource for renewal of the labor-power for this branch of industry. This system should inherit all good conceptions of routine education, and the main focus should be made on the principle of integration.
