TO THE PROBLEM OF GENESIS OF THE CONCEPT «NATIONALISM»

Information About Author:

The article observes the problem of genesis of the concept of «nationalism» in culture. The following prerequisites of the genesis of the concept of nationalism are dentified: the formation of the concept «their», the concept «foreign», the emergence of the concept of the nation. It is concluded that the concept of multidimensionality of the nation and it is derived from the concept of nationalism, which accounts for the complexity of the definition of the concept in scientific discourse at the level of everyday consciousness.
