Ingratiation
The article is devoted to analysis of ingratiation which means all the methods used to simulate other people’s perception of one’s personality. Ingratiation also lets to attract somebody’s attention, to satisfy all needs and to benefit. Ingratiation is becoming the essential part of everyday communication. The criterion able to distinguish between ingratiation and other behaviour model is a fact of breaking norms and rules of interaction. Ingratiation is a type of manipulating behaviour that is aimed to form positive reaction to own personality. Forms of ingratiation depend on a position of a person in social hierarchy
